How do I book?Please check the online calendar to see which dates are free. Contact us to arrange your booking. Remember we do group bookings only. We require a £600 deposit to secure a booking.How do we get there? We will send you detailed instructions when you book. You will need to park your car 15 minutes walk away from the site which has no vehicular access. All your luggage will be taken by 4x4 to the site.

When do we arrive/leave?Please arrange for you all to arrive within an hour of each other so your luggage can be run up to the site together. Later arrivals will have to be guided by other guests. At weekends you need to leave by Sun 6pm. Weekday arrivals and departures can be arranged when you make your booking.
Is there a train station?The nearest train station is Lewes or Glynde on the Eastbourne line which is fifteen minutes drive from the camp. Taxis are available from: 08457484950
What do we have to bring?The camp is well-equipped, but you will need to bring the following:
Where are the nearest pubs?The Ram is an excellent pub in Firle village- just a 25 min walk along the old Coach Road.

Where are the nearest shops?There are the normal variety of shops in Lewes (10 min drive) and a great farm-shop at Middle Farm (5 min drive) on the A27, but do try to bring all you need to avoid having to go shopping and carrying stuff back to the site. There is also a well provisioned village shop in Firle, just a 25 minute walk along the Old Coach Road.
How do we cook?There are three gas rings inside the kitchen yurt, as well as a large central firepit outside, which is good for cooking and a BBQ. We provide charcoal and wood.
Is there refrigeration?We provide three large cool boxes with ice packs. Bring extra ice packs if you want to keep things very cool.
Are there condiments?Basics such as salt and pepper, cooking oil etc. are provided, but beyond these, bring you own.
Is there enough table-ware and cooking equipment for eighteen people?Yes
Where do we eat?There are tables and benches outside. You are welcome to bring fold-up chairs too.
Is there fresh water?Fresh drinking water is provided in jerry cans, and there is a fresh water tap on site.
How big are the bell tents?The bell tents are 4 metres in diameter and can comfortably sleep 2 – 6 people. We have eight bell tents in total. Tell us your sleeping plan in advance, and we can lay out the mattresses accordingly.
What bedding do I need to bring?We provide mattresses, bottom sheets, and pillow cases. You need to bring sleeping bags or duvets. If you would like us to provide a duvet with a cover, the charge is £20/each.
How do we meet our guide?The guided activities last 3-4 hours and the guides will meet you at a pre-determined hour at your campsite. Most walks/adventures start off from the campsite and everything is done on foot.
Do we pay extra for the guides?At weekends, the guides are included in the price, but during the week the guides are not part of the overall price. Select the guides you wish to come from the list, and we will make the booking for you. The guides cost £150/session.
Do we pay for firewood?We provide a pile of wood for free. If you need extra, the charge is £30 per pile.
Can we bring our dog?Sorry no dogs. The camp is on a working farm and there are pheasant release pens nearby.
Do I have to clear up?Yes! We expect you to clear up the camp at the end of the weekend and to leave it in the state that you found it, that means washing up, picking up litter, putting things back and doing a general tidy-up. We ask everyone to bring a cheque of a £150 to cover extra cleaning or breakages. This will be returned to you, if all is in order, on your departure.
