"Safari Britain is too good to recommend. Just book it without any research... it's fascinating, delicious, and with a shower to shame any four star hotel. If the rain was thundering down I'd still defy anyone not to have a brilliant time..." Valentine Warner, TV Chef of What to Eat Now

Sleeping: The Safari Britain camp sleeps a max of 18 people (including toddlers) in nine canvas bell tents. We provide foam mattresses, cotton bottom sheets, pillows and pillow cases. All you need to do is either bring a sleeping bag or a duvet. If you want us to provide a duvet with a cover, there will be an extra charge of £10 each.
Cooking can be done on gas in the fully-kitted kitchen inside an 18ft yurt or in good weather either on the central fire place or the BBQ. We don’t like plastic, so all cooking and eating is done off lovely old bits of crockery hunted down in flea markets and antique shops. We have lots of old French enamel cooking ware, enamel crockery, silver plated cutlery, proper wine glasses, big copper pots and a heavy duty frying pan ½ a metre wide. The eco-loo is in a wooden hut with saloon style doors and binoculars so that you can admire the wonderful view at leisure.
Provisions: We provide gas, wood, charcoal, drinking water, cool boxes, candles, matches, fire lighters, cleaning kit, loo paper, soap and a basic larder of herbs and condiments. All you need to bring is your own food and drink. Rubbish: Please bring as little food packaging with you as possible. All rubbish has to be physically man-handled off the site – so please help us cut down on waste.
